SPS CYCLISTS 2013
Rider Profiles
The 8 riders for SPS Cyclists 2013 are currently 11th graders at St. Paul's School in Concord, NH. In early June, the students will pedal over 3,400 miles in 46 days from the Pacific Ocean in the Northwest to New England's Atlantic Coast. This bicycle journey across the United States will raise money for and increase awareness of Ride 2 Recovery, a non-profit whose mission is to improve the health and wellness of wounded U.S. veterans through programs that feature cycling as the core activity.

New York, NY As a wee lad, I always dreamed of traveling across America. Now my dream is coming true. This summer, 7 of my best friends and I will be biking across the country in an effort to raise money for U.S. veterans. I ask you to please support this wonderful cause and help my dream come true.
New York, NY Being able to bike across the country is an incredible opportunity. I've lived in New York all my life and haven't seen too much of the country. Biking across the U.S. is an amazing chance to push myself physically while making a big difference in the lives of others. I am excited to be a part of this great group of kids and to truly make a difference.
Cambridge, MA I am the oldest of 7 kids, so having a lot on my plate is something I am no stranger to. Though riding across the country is a big challenge, I believe the group of kids we have are a tight knit group and ready to tackle the ride. I am excited to tackle such a big journey for such an amazing cause, and cannot wait to do it with an incredible group of people!
Bronxville, NY This bike trip is an amazing opportunity to explore our country and recognize the soldiers who protect it. I will never again have a chance to cycle across the country with a group of my peers and I am excited for the physical and mental challenge that lies ahead. This journey is the perfect occasion to thank the men and women who have served in our armed forces and give back to them by aiding their recovery.
New Canaan, CT This bike ride is really important to me and something that I've been looking forward to since fall term of sophomore year. Not many 17 year olds can say they've had an experience like this one, and have made this type of impact on someone else’s life. I know there are going to be some hard, stressful days ahead, but I believe it will all be worthwhile if we are able to positively affect the lives of our veterans, and bring national attention to the importance of Ride 2 Recovery.
Moultonboro, NH Moultonboro, NH I’m looking forward to giving back to the veterans who have served our country by biking across the country this summer. It is for a great cause and it will be a life-changing experience for me. It’s nice to know that all of our hard work throughout this 46-day trek will pay off, impacting the lives of war veterans across the United States. This journey is a great way of saying “thank you” to all of the soldiers who have sacrificed so much for our country.
Bedford, NH This bike trip is an opportunity unlike any other. I’ve lived most of my life in New Hampshire and have yet to see much of our beautiful country. This trip not only serves as way to discover what this great country has to offer, but also to give back to those that put their lives on the line to protect it - our veterans. I’m looking forward to sharing this experience with a great group of students, and raising money for our vets. I know it will be a journey I will never forget.
Bangkok, Thailand Growing up in Thailand, I have heard many stories of the United States of America. I have always wanted to travel across the country to see all the states. I have only been to a few states in my life and have spent the majority of the time here in Concord, New Hampshire. I am very excited to travel across the country to raise money for charity. I believe that this trip will push me beyond my limits and will change my life forever.
